2017 marks the third vintage of this classic right-bank style wine with 47% Merlot, 47% Cabernet Franc, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon.
The 2017 Mailbox has an expressive nose of raspberries, plums and dried roses with a hint of cocoa powder. It hits the palate with an explosion of red fruits - Rainier cherries and freshly picked raspberries - with some spice notes on the finish. The wine is medium-bodied with medium + acid, nicely framed by soft tannins.
